Spacecake web design began life in early 1998.

As musicians in a funk band we embraced the power of the internet as a way to showcase our music to the world!

Unfortunately this wasn’t as easy as it seemed!

Tired of finding other band’s websites hit counters (this was 1998 remember!) proclaiming “congratulations – you are visitor number 7 since january 1998″ we decided to embark on a different path to promote our music!

Since we were a band of real LIVE musicians, we decided to record our soundchecks & create a music sample site to promote our work.

Thus Loopasonic was born on 5th November 1998.
