For 65 years, this third generation family company has fought hard for recognition as craftsmen of quality handmade shoes for a selection of markets and fashions.
Founded as City cobbler in 1945 and trading in Shepherds Bush, our ethos has been based on the quality of shoe we produce contrary to the classless new wave mass production era which has now grown bigger and stronger than the concept and passion of a quality product.
Our creative designer and production manager Cos K is a veteran in the shoemaking industry and is continuing to put a huge dent in the fashion footwear scene.
Having founded the company leatherworks, he went on to design and make shoes for vogue and cosmopolitan for a number of years and having an article written on him in the Sunday times magazine featuring the dedication to his classy, illustrious, good quality fashion ideology. Cos K is the new footwear designer to look out for on the red carpet!
